Leisure

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Eternal Peace of Togetherness

A full moon night, we walk on the grey sand,
On a rhythm the splashing waves create,
Fresh cool breeze caressing our bodies,
As the waves caress the rocks,
Who shyly give away.
Silver waves smiling to the moon
Who plays with the waves below
Different, yet one
Miles apart, yet so near
Silent, yet listening to the unsaid words
Holds my hand in his
He who always stood by me
In every walk of life
The sound of laughter and woes,
Echoing in our ears
Yet holding tight
The hands-
Grown from years of wear
Grown,
Till the lines, that had dictated the journey so far
Have asked to stop
So we can depart
From the world of beings
To eternal peace of togetherness
Yet holding tight
The Hands
Which are now
No more....
